# Debuffs

<mark style="color:purple;">Debuffs</mark> are used to hinder other alpacas, creating opportunities for your alpaca to take the lead. There are four types of <mark style="color:purple;">Debuffs</mark>, each affecting the opponent in different ways:

* <mark style="color:purple;">**Dehydration**</mark>: Reduces [**Top Speed**](/readme/alpaca-stats/speed.md).
* <mark style="color:purple;">**Frostbite**</mark>: Reduces [<mark style="color:yellow;">**Acceleration**</mark>](/readme/alpaca-stats/acceleration.md).
